In preparation for the resumption of negotiations for the release of the hostages and the cessation of fighting in the Gaza Strip, Egypt responded negatively to Israel's request to resettle tens of thousands of Gazans on Egyptian territory.
According to the report in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, Israel made it clear that this would be for a very limited time, in order to definitively eliminate the battalions of terrorist organizations remaining in the Strip, without endangering civilians.
Egypt expressed, as mentioned, a firm opposition and made it clear to the Israeli that the matter was "unacceptable" to it. In the meantime, the terrorist organization Hamas officially announced last night that it refuses to enter into a new round of talks and promote a hostage deal, and that its people will not participate in the summit scheduled for Thursday.
