In a discussion about the preparations in the Middle East for a possible attack by Hezbollah and Iran on Israel, al-Ali revealed the anticipated timing for Iran's strike.
In an interview with the Saudi channel Al-Hadath, al-Ali stated, "The delay in the response is purely a tactical matter. All options are on the table. The correct response is not to react or speak, but to remain silent. Stay silent and wait for the opportune moment when the defensive ring that the US has created around Israel will crumble. They made a great defensive effort. We need to wait until the situation returns to normal. We need to wait for the situation to be routine, and then they will launch a surprise attack just as Israel did in '67."
He added, "This is how wars are conducted. They bombed all of Abdel Nasser’s planes. The crossing operation (across the canal) that Egypt carried out was preceded by tactical actions that showed Israel that Egypt was calm and nothing was happening, and suddenly, it was a holiday, and suddenly they surprised them massively."
