Yonatan Deutsch from Beit She'an Killed in Shooting Attack in the Jordan Valley

The lightly injured person reached the Machola junction, where he reported the shooting at his vehicle. Following the report, forces were dispatched to scan the area, where they found Yonatan unconscious and in critical condition. After resuscitation efforts at the scene, the emergency responders pronounced him dead.

In response to the attack, numerous IDF forces rushed to the area and are conducting searches and a manhunt for the terrorists. It is estimated that the shooting was carried out by two terrorists from a passing vehicle. Among those who arrived at the scene for the situation assessment were the Commander of Central Command, the Commander of the Jordan Valley and the Lower Galilee Brigade, the Head of the Jordan Valley Regional Council, and other senior officers.
