Iran attack on Israel, date, rockets
Report: Hezbollah's Likely Attack Date in Israel
Arab sources have approached Hezbollah and requested that it postpone its response until after August 15, when a summit is expected to take place between the parties to renew negotiations on a prisoner exchange.

Amid Israel's preparations for a potential Hezbollah attack, international efforts to reduce escalation and control the scale of the response have intensified. According to a report by News 12, Arab sources have asked Hezbollah to delay its response until after August 15 to avoid the terror organization being accused of disrupting the negotiations. It is estimated that if no significant progress is made, Hezbollah will carry out an attack in the immediate future.
The report also indicates that the terror organization has ignored the request and has not yet provided a negative or positive response.
Meanwhile, the Iranian delegation to the UN has addressed the possibility that Tehran might delay its expected response against Israel until after the upcoming negotiations between Israel and Hamas next week. The delegation stated, "We hope that our response will be timed and executed in a way that does not harm the potential for a ceasefire."
The delegation added, "Our priority is to establish a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, and any agreement accepted by Hamas will also be recognized by us. The Israeli regime has violated our national security and autonomy through its recent act of terrorism, and we have the legitimate right to self-defense—an issue that is entirely separate from the ceasefire in Gaza. However, we hope our response will be coordinated and carried out in a manner that does not impact the potential ceasefire."
