Last night (Friday), an Israel Air Force aircraft, guided by intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) and the Shin Bet, targeted and eliminated the terrorist Samer Mahmoud Al-Haj in the Sidon area. Al-Haj was a Hamas commander in Lebanon, responsible for advancing and executing terrorist plans and launching attacks from Lebanon into Israeli territory.

Samer served as the commander of the military force in the Ein al-Hilweh camp in the Sidon area and was responsible, among other things, for recruiting and training terrorists to attack the State of Israel.

"IDF and Shin Bet will continue to act against the Hamas terror organization wherever it operates and target its operatives," it was stated.
