The Galilee Medical Centre in Nahariya reports that two individuals are hospitalized as a result of the missile interceptor's debris falling yesterday. One of the victims, a 27-year-old from Kfar Yasif, is in critical condition, sedated, and on a ventilator due to shrapnel injuries, and is being treated in the general intensive care unit.
Another victim, a 65-year-old resident of Nahariya, is in light condition (she fell and was injured while moving to a protected area) and is being treated in the orthopaedic ward. The remaining injured were discharged after receiving treatment in the emergency room.
Yesterday (Tuesday), a drone was intercepted on Highway 4 in Nahariya. Shrapnel from the interception injured the Kfar Yasif resident critically. The IDF stated: "Following alerts activated in the last hour in northern Israel, several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected crossing from Lebanon. One was intercepted, and falls were detected south of Nahariya, injuring several civilians. Alerts for missile and rocket fire were activated due to concerns about falling interceptor debris. The alarm in Acre was due to a false identification."
