IDF Force Eliminates Armed Terrorist Attempting Shooting Attack

The IDF force from Unit 636, which was conducting a pre-emptive operation near the settlement of Beqaot in the Beka'ot and Valleys Brigade, recently neutralized an armed terrorist who attempted a shooting attack. There were no casualties among our forces.

Immediately following the shooting incident, an ambush was set up by Unit 636 near the location from which the terrorists had carried out the shooting. The soldiers in the ambush opened fire and killed the terrorist, while another terrorist escaped in a vehicle. The eliminated terrorist was found to be carrying an M16 rifle with a loaded magazine.

Unit 636 is responsible for hundreds of ambushes in which dozens of terrorists who carried out shootings against settlements, civilians, and IDF forces have been neutralized.
