The chairman of the Israel Beitenu party, Avigdor Lieberman, today (Monday) strongly attacked Israel's waiting for the Iranian attack: "I say to both the Israeli government and the security establishment, you are stuck on October 6. Why do we wait a whole week for them to beat us and launch missiles at us, when we know that they are going to attack us?"

"Abandon all the terms of panic and containment, and move to a preemptive strike and initiative. At this time, all the terrorists and commanders go underground, move tools, and our delay gives them time to organize and hide. How does such a situation happen that we wait for the blow to come upon us, and then decide what the response is? That's not how we behave," Lieberman wrote.

Yesterday, Lieberman wrote a similar message against Israeli cowardice: "In the jungle of the Middle East, we must conduct ourselves differently. A situation in which an entire country panics and waits for a multi-arena attack must not be allowed. The initiative must always be in our hands."
