A rocket reportedly hit an open area in the Kiryat Shmonah area today (Sunday) and started a fire. It did not trigger a siren.

The Israel Police report that they are isolating the area to take care of any fragments or possible explosives and are instructing the public to stay away from the area.

The Israel Fire and Rescue Services said they are working to contain and put out the blaze.
