Five rockets fired at Ashkelon area, no casualties reported

The rockets had set off sirens in the Shefela area, deeper inside the country than the area immediately around the Gaza Strip.

A short time ago (Sunday), five rockets were fired at the Ashkelon area from the Gaza Strip, according to the IDF.

The IDF said that the rockets were fired from the southern Gaza Strip and had triggered sirens in the Shefela area north of southern Israel.

Magen David Adom stated that no casualties have been reported so far.
