A 66-year-old woman and an 80 year-old man were murdered and several others were injured this morning (Sunday) in a stabbing attack on Moshe Dayan Street in Holon.
A 68-year-old man was seriously injured and a 26-year-old man was moderately injured.
The terrorist, a Palestinian from the territories, was shot and neutralized. A policeman shot the suspected terrorist, Amar Razak Kamal Odeh (35), a Palestinian resident of the town of Salfit in Samaria, who is suspected of staying in Israel without a residence permit. The terrorist did not belong to any organizations, and in the settlement it is said that he was a drug addict and had been in prison several times.
According to reports, the terrorist started the stabbing spree in the park behind the gas station on Moshe Dayan Street, from there he continued towards the sidewalk and the bus stop on the street, adjacent to the gas station. He stabbed three inside the park, and another person on the sidewalk. The policeman who neutralized the terrorist is an operations officer from the Holon station in the rank of inspector, who was in his police car with another policeman on the way to the station. The two noticed the incident, tried to make contact, and neutralized the terrorist after he managed to stab four people.
