The Republican Party in the U.S. held a fundraising conference in New Jersey for the upcoming elections, which was attended by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed in his speech that Israel is "in big trouble" and that he intends to "save it" as reported in 'Israel Hayom'.
According to Netta Bar's report, entry to the fundraising conference was conditional on a minimum donation of $3,000, and many Jewish donors also participated, with donations of half a million dollars recorded. The Republican candidate's speech took place in a large tent covered with American flags.
"I spoke to a group of 25 supporters, they asked me about the problems we have with China. I said we have a problem with Israel. We have to say it, Israel is in big trouble. All the things we saw happen on October 7 wouldn't have happened if I were president," Trump said.
Trump also referred to Hezbollah's terror attack in Majdal Shams and said: "We're going to be okay with China. We have a bigger problem with Israel. Israel is under siege. Terror weapons came and killed 13 beautiful children and we've never seen such a graphic display of death, outside the battlefield. They showed young children in poses - I've never seen such a thing. This is going to awaken people and make them do something about it."
"Israel is under attack, I don't know if it's good that I say this, it's not good for public relations. I met Bibi. We had a good meeting, a strong meeting, and he wants to be able to win this war. He's getting a lot of ricochets, if you see what happened yesterday you understand that something is going to happen very fast. We have to do one thing, make sure I'm elected, because the moment I'm elected, it will end," Trump said.
Furthermore, Trump also referred to the presumptive Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris, and said: "I'll give you the bad news. She hates Israel." About Senator Chuck Schumer he said: "He's become Palestinian, there's no other way to look at it."
