Report: Hostage Rescue Operation Nearly Thwarted Due to Shin Bet Leak
About ten months after the successful heaven-blessed operation that led to the release of four hostages, "Operation Arnon," details were revealed tonight (Tuesday) about a leak within the Shin Bet security service that almost led to the operation being thwarted, which would have left the four rescued individuals in Hamas captivity.

About ten months after the successful heaven-blessed operation that freed four hostages, "Operation Arnon," Channel 12 News revealed details tonight about a leak within the Shin Bet that nearly led to the operation being thwarted and the four rescued individuals remaining in the hands of Hamas monsters.
According to the report, in June of last year, an intensive and highly secretive operation was underway to rescue four hostages: Noa Argamani, Shlomi Ziv, Andrei Kozlov, and Almog Meir Jan. Naturally, such a sensitive operation required absolute confidentiality to maintain the element of surprise, which in this case was critically important and could have caused the entire operation to fail.
However, just hours before the operation was to begin, security officials suddenly discovered that details of the operation had appeared in a Telegram group. The "fortunate" aspect was that this Telegram group was small, so neither Israel nor Hamas were exposed to the details. In the end, by heaven's grace, the operation succeeded—but it could have been very close to failure.
Following the serious leak, the Shin Bet launched an investigation and discovered that an employee in the organization had allegedly shared details of the operation with her brother and sister-in-law. From them, the information reached a third person and then another person who published the information in the Telegram group.
As a result of the investigation, the employee was arrested and prevented from contacting her relatives for 4 days. After a month and a half, a very serious indictment was filed against her. Almost ten months have passed since then, and the suspected employee is still under house arrest. The trial against her continues to this day.
