Following the assassinations of Hezbollah's Chief of Staff in Beirut and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Israel is gearing up for potential responses from Lebanon and Iran. While Israel has only taken responsibility for the assassination in Lebanon, it is anticipated that Iranian elements will seek revenge for Haniyeh’s killing, which occurred on Iranian soil and exposed Iran's vulnerability.
According to assessments in Israel, both Iran and Hezbollah are expected to retaliate for the deaths of the two leaders, with predictions of massive rocket fire targeting northern and central cities from Tehran and Lebanon. It is also possible that the Houthis could join in, launching rockets and UAVs from Yemen.
It is worth noting that, despite the preparations, Israel has not yet announced any changes to the Home Front Command's directives. Normal routines continue across most parts of the country, except for a few northern communities where residents have already been advised to minimize activities and gatherings.
