Israel-Gaza War, Hamas

Netanyahu celebrates Beirut strike, remains mum on Iran strike, reiterates determination to win

In a public statement issued a short time ago, Prime Minister Netanyahu explained how Israel struck serious blows against Israel's main enemies backed by Iran.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a statement a short time ago (Wednesday) addressing the strike in Beirut against Fuad Shukr or "Abu Muhsin," the no. 2 leader of Hezbollah.

In his statement, Netanyahu empahsized how Iran is attempting to strangle Israel via proxy forces armed with missiles and other munitions - especially Hamas, the Houthis, and Hezbollah. He said that Israel has now struck all three with serious blows - the assassination of Mohammad Deif, the strike on Hodeidah port in Yemen, and the strike against Abu Muhsin.

As Israel Spokesperson David Mencer said earlier today, Israel is not commenting on the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran, and Netanyahu made no mention or hint of that attack.

Netanyahu finished his statement by noting the importance of continuing on to victory despite criticism "at home and abroad" demanding he end the war, saying that these "far from simple" pressures, had he caved to them, would have left Israel's enemies with their forces and commanders largely intact.

Together, he said, we will win.
