In a powerful show of national unity, close to $530,000 has been raised to aid the 12 families mourning the loss of their children following a Hezbollah rocket strike in Majdal Shams.

The attack, which targeted a local soccer field, has left the Druze community in deep mourning. In response, countless Israelis have made pilgrimages to the site, offering flowers and black ribbons in a heartfelt gesture of support.

Shmuel Hazan, visiting the scene of the attack, spoke to the overwhelming sense of grief shared by all: “This tragedy affects not just the families but the entire community and Israel as a whole. We must come together and support one another.”

The online GiveBack campaign has raised over $285,000 from approximately 6,700 contributors. According to Yaya Fink, one of the campaign's leaders, 80% of the donations will be directed to the families, while 20% will fund mental health and resilience efforts in Majdal Shams.
