Channel14's military commentator Noam Amir sharply attacked IDF top brass after the Chief of Staff and the IDF spokesman called the demonstrators at the Sdei Teiman and Beit Lid military bases "a danger to the security of the state". He went on to say "the army has forgotten who its enemy is, shame!".

Channel 14's Boaz Golan also attacked the IDF spokesman while mentioning the latter's delusional statement about Hezbollah: "Trying to understand. According to Hagari [the IDF spokesman], the demonstrators in Beit Lied pose a danger to the security of the country."

In another tweet, Golan referred to the briefings of IDF officials that battalions were sent from Gaza to protect the base in Beit Lied: "If the Chief of Staff diverted forces from the IDF in favor of Beit Lied - then the Chief of Staff is knowingly endangering the security of the country and the citizens of the country!" Not the demonstrators!"

"Does Hagari imagine for a moment that there are reservists among the demonstrators?" Golan wondered. "Veterans of cruisers and combat units? Among the demonstrators in Sde Yemen and Beit Lied are also fighters who left Gaza. As far as Hagari is concerned, they are a danger to the country. But Hagari didn't imagine this before he came out with another delusional statement."
