In a reported "blitz" of messages to over 30 foreign ministers, Foreign Minister Katz has been informing multiple countries of Israel's intent to strike back at Hezbollah for the Majdal Shams attack and called on them to stand united against Hezbollah, according to Israel Hayom.

The statement reads:

"Hezbollah, the agent of Iran in Lebanon, committed a massacre in Majdal Shams, and killed innocent children and youth who were playing soccer. The long arm of Iran, Hezbollah, intentionally aimed at citizens. Despite the denials, Hezbollah is solely responsible for the attack.

"Despite all the efforts that Israel and the international community invested so that Hezbollah heed Resolution 1701, the massacre crossed all the red lines. This is not a conflict between armies but a terrorist group aiming at civilians.

"Israel will use its right to self-defense and respond in force. In light of this atrocity, we call on you to take immediate and decisive action. It is vital that the international community stand united against such acts of terror. By attributing responsibility to Iran and its proxies, we can prevent additional shedding of blood and ensure justice will prevail."
