Cleared for publication: names of 11 of the 12 boys and girls killed by a rocket in Majdal Shams

The names of 11 of the 12 children killed on a Majdal Shams soccer field yesterday (Saturday) by a rocket launched by Hezbollah were cleared for publication. They will be laid to rest in the Druze village in the Golan Heights this morning in at 11 am.

The children killed were:

About 20 more victims are hospitalized: 3 children are hospitalized in serious condition at Rambam Hospital, another 5 are hospitalized in serious condition at Ziv Hospital in Safed, and 10 are in moderate condition. Most of the lightly injured will be released from the hospitals today.

The IDF have confirmed that the rocket used in the recent assault was an Iranian-made Falaq-1, carrying over 50 kilograms of explosives. The attack, which struck a soccer field, resulted in horrific scenes of bloodshed, with residents and first responders recounting the gruesome aftermath.

Despite a warning siren being sounded, the alert was tragically too brief for many to escape. This incident marks the deadliest Hezbollah attack since the group's offensive against northern Israel began on October 8.
