A short time ago (Friday), sirens went off in the Ashkelon area and the Gaza Perimeter as rockets were fired at it from the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad publicly took responsibility for the rocket fire.

Magen David Adom reported that there are no casualties reported as of this time.

The IDF reports that three rockets were fired, one of which was intercepted and two of which fell in open areas.

One of the rockets that landed reportedly started a fire between Netiv Ha'asarah and Kibbutz Erez.
