FM Katz to France: Iran-backed terrorists targeting Israeli Olympians and tourists

The Foreign Minister provided this warning as the Israeli Olympic team remains under very heavy security.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz informed the French Foreign Minister that Iran-backed terrorists and terrorist groups are planning to try and harm members of the Israeli Olympic team and Israeli tourists during the Olympics held in France, according to Kann News.

In his statement, Katz said that "Terrorists affiliated with Iran and other terrorist organizations aim to carry out terrorist attacks against members of the Israeli delegation and Israeli tourists."

The 2024 Olympics are already under heavy security due to possible violence and threats.
