Shira Margalit, wife of a leader in the left-wing protest movement in Kaplan and a well-known opponent of Netanyahu, publicly praised the Prime Minister's speech on social media.

In a post she shared, Margalit, the wife of the protest leader against the right-wing government, Ilan Shiloh, praised with reluctance the Prime Minister's speech to the American Congress.

In a post published on social networks, Margalit wrote: "As an Israeli, I don't believe a word Netanyahu says. I also know he doesn't mean a word he says about the hostages, the heroic soldiers he presented in Congress or the kibbutzim. If he cared, he would have done something over the past 10 months. But - he is one of the best speakers I've seen."

She continued to praise the Prime Minister despite the pain: "It's a talent he has and you can't take that away from him. He mesmerizes the audience in English."

In the end, she returned to her habits and attacked the Prime Minister: "Tomorrow a new day will dawn and they will also remember that he is wicked."
