Son of parents killed by Hezbollah rocket: "Some are worth more and some are worth less"
Matan, the son of Noa and Nir Barnes who tragically lost their lives to a rocket attack in the Golan Heights, expressed frustration over what he perceives as unequal media attention given to different tragedies.

Matan Barnes, who recently mourned the loss of his parents Noa and Nir in a Hezbollah rocket attack in the Golan Heights, shared his thoughts on Instagram regarding the coverage of the Houthi UAV strike in Tel Aviv and subsequent events in Yemen.
"When a couple of parents are killed in the Golan Heights: entertainment shows. A UAV in Tel Aviv: a special news edition at four in the morning. Everyone should be equal. But some are valued more and some less," lamented the grieving son, as reported on Israel National News report.
Noa and Nir Barnes, parents of three from the village of Ortal, tragically lost their lives when their car was struck by a Hezbollah rocket intended for the Golan Heights.
After the incident, 18-year-old Matan delivered a heartfelt eulogy for his parents: "Thank you, Mom and Dad, for the best life imaginable. You taught me so much, which has made me strong. I know you're proud of me up there, thinking, 'Wow, what a family we had.' I'm sorry if I ever disappointed you. You were my everything, pure-hearted individuals who always helped others, and whose laughter filled every moment. I miss our private jokes; I'll always cherish the name 'Barnes.' In a word: thank you."
