The IDF is back in strength in Khan Yunis and its general area today (Monday), due to indications of the presence of terrorists and efforts to rebuild terror infrastructures in the area.

After getting civilians in the Khan Yunis area to evacuate to the humanitarian zone, the IDF has entered into the city in force to eliminate terrorists and destroy efforts to rebuild terror infrastructures.

The Air Force struck over 30 targets in the area, including a launch site where rockets were fired and landed near Nirim, without causing casualties. The Air Force also destroyed weapons caches, observation posts, underground tunnel shafts, and structures used by Hamas.

Forces of the 98th Division are also operating on the ground with the aim of eliminating terrorists with ground and air fire.
