Broken promise: Northern evacuee children sent to new schools despite Ministry assurance

The Ministry of Education’s pledge to keep evacuated children in their original schools is not being met, leading to concerns about students being relocated to new educational institutions.

Parents of children evacuated from schools in the Upper Galilee were astounded to find out that the Ministry of Education abandoned them once again, when after a year of upheaval the children will once again be uprooted from their educational settings and sent to new schools.

The angry parents bemoan the situation: "Our children are uprooted once again, despite the Ministry of Education's commitment that they will be able to continue studying."

The announcement comes while the Ministry of Education promised that the evacuated students would continue to study where they had during the past year. The Director of the Northern District in the Ministry of Education, Orna Simhon, pledged that additional buildings will be built in places where there is a shortage of space.
