Palestinian sources in Gaza are reporting that the IDF has begun an operation in Khan Yunis today (Monday), complete with tanks and military vehicles.

As reported earlier, the IDF Spokesperson informed residents of Khan Yunis' eastern neighborhoods that they would have to temporarily evacuate to the humanitarian zone in the al-Mawasi area. The evacuation was encouraged via text messages, recorded voice calls, phone calls, media broadcasts in Arabic, and posters.

The announcement came following many terror attacks and projectile launches towards Israel from the eastern part of the humanitarian zone. The IDF now believes that Hamas has established terrorist infrastructures in the humanitarian zone.
