With the conflict between Israel and the Houthis escalating, a former senior Houthi says that the attack on Israel was a mistake, and that the terrorist organization is absolutely incapable of facing Israel.
"The Houthis use tens of millions of Yemenis as human shields when they send a rocket and kill an Israeli citizen," said the former official. According to him: "They will cause the bankruptcy of the port. Israel is not like Britain and the USA, which only attack military targets. The conflict is between Israel and the Palestinians, we have no direct conflict with Israel."
He added that the pro-Iranian militia does not even have an air defense system capable of protecting Yemen: "Abd al-Malek al-Houthi sends these rockets when he is unable to shoot down even one Israeli plane." In addition, he expressed concern that "Israel may impose a naval and air blockade on Yemen - and the civilian population will pay the price."
