Amir Ohana sent a tweet to the Middle East - and reached millions in the Arab world 

The speaker of the Knesset tweeted in Arabic after the Israeli attack in Yemen, and the Arab world parleyed with him on social networks.

After the Israeli attack in the port of Hodeidah yesterday (Saturday), Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana tweeted on the social network X in Arabic: "This is a message to the entire Middle East" - above a picture of the enormous conflagration at the Hodeida port; this caused a wave of counter reactions from around the Arab world.

The tweet reached millions of views and thousands of comments within 12 hours, most of them from tweeters from the Middle East, as reported by Ynet News.

The former Secretary General of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), the Egyptian Mohamed ElBaradei, responded by tweeting to his 6 million followers: "A message from the occupier."

Other popular accounts shared Ohana's tweet. Among them, Mario Nafal, a Lebanese tweeter now living in Dubai who has 1.5 million followers, including Elon Musk and Piers Morgan. The tweet was also shared by the Saudi West account with 721 thousand followers.

Joe, an Egyptian satirist who lives in Qatar and has a very popular show called "The Joe Show" in Al Arabia, also shared Ohana's tweet to his 2.1 million followers.
