As the IDF prepares to send out its first draft notices to eligible Haredi draftees, the Defense Ministry announced the launching of a user-friendly website today (Thursday) specifically for Haredim interested in serving.

With the slogan "meaningful service, Haredi way of life, employment horizon" emblazoned over a picture of Haredim in uniform, the site contains brief and succinct explanations as to what to expect in terms of service conditions and benefits.

Interestingly, the tracks include not only combat units such as Netzach Yehudah or combat support units in the IDF but also important positions in the Israel Police.

The site also offers a hotline for any and all questions which is open during daylight office hours and a comment submission form.
