At 2:22 in the morning, sirens sounded in the Western Galilee and Nahariya. About 15 launches were detected that crossed over from Lebanon, some of them intercepted by the air defense fighters and the rest of the launches exploded in open areas. No damage was caused and there were no casualties.

During the night, Air Force fighter jets attacked Hezbollah terrorist infrastructures in the areas of Yarun, Ayita al-Sha'ab and Alma al-Sha'ab in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah accepted responsibility for the barrage towards the Western Galilee, and claimed that it sent dozens of katyushas to Kibbutz Sa'ar and Gesher Ziv in response to "the death of three Syrian children in an Israeli attack aimed at the village of Umm al-Tut".
