Jerusalem: Bus Veers into Wadi near the Biblical Zoo

An empty bus veered off its route and into a wadi on Aharon Shulov Street, near the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem. The 50-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and was treated on-site by Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical teams.

MDA reported that at 15:41, they received a report via their 101 dispatch centre in Jerusalem regarding an empty bus that veered off its route and into a wadi on Aharon Shulov Street in Jerusalem.

MDA paramedics and EMTs provided medical treatment to the 50-year-old bus driver who was fully conscious and suffered minor injuries to his body.

Subsequently, MDA updated that this was a road accident involving a bus and several vehicles. MDA paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated 6 lightly injured individuals to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, including the bus driver, 2 passengers, and 3 individuals from a private vehicle — a man, a woman, and a child. Additionally, 2 lightly injured individuals were transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center from the scene.
