Concern over aggressive bacteria: 4-year-old girl dies at hospital

Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital reported this morning (Friday) that a 4-year-old girl has passed away, likely due to violent bacterial infection. The girl had no underlying health conditions and was brought in for treatment because she was feeling unwell.

Upon arrival at the hospital, she received fluids and antibiotics and was transferred to the intensive care unit for children, but her condition rapidly deteriorated there. Doctors decided to sedate her and provided medications and support for her heart and circulatory system, but she passed away hours later.

The hospital conducted an investigation into the cause of death, and at this time, the suspicion is that it was due to aggressive bacterial infection.
