In an unusual statement, the IDF officially announced today (Wednesday) that it struck Syrian Army infrastructure located within the buffer zone between the two armies violating the 1974 separation of forces agreement with tank and artillery fire.

The IDF said that the IDF considers the Syrian Army to be responsible for everything that happens within its own territory and will not allow efforts to violate the separation of powers agreement.
