Veteran Middle East commentator Ehud Yaari told Channel 12 News that he is very pessimistic about and end to the conflict in the north or in the south.

Yaari said that retreating to the Litani is unacceptable to Hezbollah since the terrorists live in the villages in southern Lebanon, and that Hezbollah's terms for a ceasefire - a truce in the south for a truce in the north - leave the door open for further hostilities in the event the IDF needs to go into the Gaza Strip again.
