Air Haifa has announced that it will officially receive the first aircraft in its fleet at the end of this month as reported by Ynet.

The brand new ATR 72-600, with a seating capacity of 72, will take off from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport in France and land at Haifa International Airport. The airline will acquire two additional aircraft of the same model in the coming months.

Currently, Air Haifa is in the final stages of obtaining its operating license from Israel's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The airline expects to complete this process by September, at which point it will begin selling tickets and launching scheduled flights from Haifa.

Air Haifa's planned routes include flights between Haifa and Eilat, as well as destinations in Cyprus and Greece in the eastern Mediterranean.
