Enlight, a renewable energy company, has launched commercial operations of two solar fields in the Western Negev or Gaza Envelope, with a total capacity of 16 megawatts of solar and 94 megawatt-hours of storage.

These facilities, located near Moshav Yesha and Kibbutz Re'im, represent the company's 8th and 9th integrated solar storage projects in Israel.

CEO Gilad Yavetz leads the company, which plans to establish three more such projects in Israel by year's end, totaling 12 integrated solar storage projects. The combined capacity will be about 250 megawatts of solar power and 600 megawatt-hours of storage.
