Israel Prison Service member found stabbed in burning building - suspected murder

In Givon, Binyamin Region, firefighters discovered a 40-year-old man with stab wounds unconscious in a burning building.

A 40-year-old member of the Israel Prison Service was found dead after a fire broke out on Monday morning in Giv'on, Binyamin Region. The man was discovered unconscious with stab wounds inside the burning house. Rescue teams declared him dead on the spot, according to Arutz 7.

MDA Motorcycle Unit EMT Aharon Steinmetz stated: "Upon arrival, we saw smoke emanating from the house. Firefighters brought out a man in his 40s who showed no signs of life. We examined him, but regrettably, had to pronounce him dead at the scene."
