Israel-Gaza War
Ynet analyst: This is Sinwar's most valuable asset
As negotiations over a hostage deal continue, Ynet national security analyst Ron Ben Yishai says this asset is the most important lifeline for Hamas and Sinwar.

Ynet reporter and national security analyst Ron Ben Yishai gave an interview today (Sunday) for 103FM radio on the Israeli price for getting the hostages back, arguing that: "Regarding the Philadelphi corridor, Hamas is very insistent that Israel vacate the Rafah crossing area because it's effectively the only artery connecting Hamas to the outside world."
Meanwhile, Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli spoke this morning on the Galei Yisrael radio station, saying that he had red lines regarding the hostage deal, which would lead to him not voting for it in the cabinet if crossed, and one of these is the Philadelphi Corridor.
According to his statement: "Any deal that involves conceding the Netzarim corridor" bisecting the Gaza Strip or "in conceding the security perimeter or Philadelphi (corridor) - is a reckless deal which would not allow the IDF to continue to cling to its mission. Any deal that does not allow the IDF to meet the war aims - I will not support."
