Cleared for publication: Major Jalaa Ibrahim was killed by an anti-tank missile in Rafah
Ibrahim was a company commander in the 601st Engineering Battalion.

Major Jalaa Ibrahim, 25 years old from Sajur, was killed by an anti-tank missile strike in Rafah. He was a company commander in the 601st Engineering Battalion, the 401st Iron Track Design.
The head of Sajur Council Jaber Hamud said that "Jalaa had 12 brothers and sisters. Six of them hold senior positions in the security domain. Three in the combat engineering corps and a brother in the police. He is a member of a bereaved family, as his grandfather was killed in pursuit of terrorists during the War of Attrition. This is a noble family in the settlement."
Jalaa's father was also a security man, and died of a heart attack. "This is a family that has been through a lot, but a strong family," said the head of the council. "There are three brothers and two nephews who serve in combat positions in the Gaza Strip. Jalaa is a source of pride for the Druze community and for every Israeli patriot. Unfortunately, the Druze community has consistently proven its loyalty to the state, but the state has not yet proven its loyalty to the Druze community. It is sad."
