Liberman: Things can't go on like this

Former Defense Minister and current Israel Beytenu party leader Avigdor Liberman said that "the main effort needs to be directed at defeating Iran."

Israel Beytenu party chairman MK Avigdor Liberman attacked the conduct of the Netanyahu government and its management of the war today (Thursday): "There are some phenomena which cannot be continued."

According to Liberman" "We cannot continue with the chilling word pair released for publication, which puts a whole country into mourning and depression. We cannot go on when 120 hostages are still in Gaza, without any horizon and without a solution which the political leadership can present. We cannot continue with all the hundreds of thousands of evacuees in the north and south, and hundreds of homes hit directly and uninhabitable."

"The State of Israel needs a clear-cut victory, and we cannot defeat Hamas and Hezbollah without defeating the source of the evil: Iran. Without Iran they don't exist. The funding, the weapons, the equipment, the knowledge, the instruction, and the political support - they all come from Iran."

Liberman added that "over a decade ago, Netanyahu presented the UN with a picture of the progress of the Iranian bomb and the red line it must not reach. Since then, they have passed the red line four times, already, and Netanyahu did not lift a finger all those years. Therefore the main effort right now needs to be directed towards defeating Iran and destroying the nuclear program, with all the capabilities and the means at our disposal."
