Following the stabbing attack in Karmiel in which 2 people were injured, Eliyahu Yossian, an expert in Iranian affairs stated, "They don't want us here! For every attack we must deport their first-degree relatives: mother, father, brothers, sisters, wife and children," Arutz 14 reported.

He continued, "Our problem is deep-rooted. It doesn't matter where the terrorist came from or who he received assistance from...For 70 years we have been in attacks of one kind or another."

Finally, he added, "We cannot deport them to Egypt and Jordan because we have a peace agreement with them, but to Syria we can according to international law because every Monday and Thursday we bomb them without Assad's permission. For each terrorist attack, 20 to 30 of their families should be deported."
