Reports from Gazan media indicate that a group of terrorists detained during the war have been released back to Gaza, with Muhammed Abu Salmiya, the Shifa Hospital director among them.

According to Arutz 7, the reason given was a lack of available prison cells.

He was arrested in November and accused by the IDF and security officials of turning his hospital into "terror infrastructure" and allowing it to be a base for terrorist activities over the years.
