Unconscious man discovered in bus trunk in Afula, later declared dead

Discovery of unconscious man in luggage compartment sparks immediate police investigation.

A man was found dead in the luggage compartment of a bus in Afula, raising concerns and prompting an immediate police investigation.

The unidentified man, believed to be around 40 years old, was discovered by the bus driver during routine inspections at the central bus station in Afula. Upon finding the unconscious individual, the driver promptly notified authorities, as reported by Walla News.

Police officers and forensic investigators quickly arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area to conduct a thorough investigation. The identity of the man remains unknown at this time.

Lidor Cohen, a paramedic, and Nir Moskovich, a medic from Magen David Adom (MDA), were among the first responders. They described the scene: "We saw the bus in the parking lot. The man, who was unconscious, was lying in the luggage compartment. We performed medical examinations, but he showed no signs of life, and we had to pronounce him dead."

Police are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
