IDF continues to clear out Rafah

The IDF continues to eliminate terrorists in the Rafah area, as the Air Force strikes dozens of targets in the Gaza Strip.

The IDF announced today (Sunday) that the 162nd Division continues its focused, intelligence based operations in the Rafah area. Forces of the combat teams of the 401st, Nachal, Givati, and 12th Brigades located weapons alongside tunnel shafts and other underground areas. In one of the Givati Brigade's operations, a terrorist squad identified nearby was eliminated.

During the past 24 hours, the 99th Division has continued to act to clear the central Gaza Strip of terror infrastructures, weapons, and armed terror units. During operations, soldiers eliminated terrorists in close quarters combat and with sniper and drone fire.

Throughout the last 24 hours, Air Force aircraft have struck dozens of terror targets throughout the Strip including terror infrastructures, terrorists, and military structures.
