The Israeli Air Force has killed the commander of Hezbollah's operations, Pechel Ibrahim, in Deir Kifa village, southern Lebanon, as stated by the IDF. As per the report, Ibrahim led the ground forces in the Joya sector and oversaw the planning and carrying out of terrorist activities against Israel.
The Air Force fighter jets took action in Al Rehan, located in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah forces were firing missiles and endangering the the IAF planes operating in Lebanon. This morning, the IDF conducted an airstrike killing Hezbollah operations commander Fadl Ibrahim.
The Israeli military announced that a drone strike had eliminated Fadl Ibrahim, a Hezbollah terrorist who was serving as an operations commander in southern Lebanon.
The IDF stated that he was in charge of organizing and carrying out terrorist attacks on Israeli territory. The operations officer was additionally in charge of the infantry forces in the Hezbollah's regional unit in Jouaiyya. Fadl Ibrahim, who also goes by the names Abbas Ibrahim Hamza Hamada, was killed in the town of Deir Kifa in southern Lebanon.
The IDF reported that Fadl Ibrahim has been enhancing Hezbollah's presence in southern Lebanon and working to enhance the organization's ground combat capabilities by carrying out attacks against Israel.
Hezbollah confirms his demise but refrains from labeling him as a commander. The death of Fadl Ibrahim increases the terror group's casualties in the war to a minimum of 349.
IDF Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi emphasized that Hezbollah underestimates the potent capabilities of the Israeli military. Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has previously underscored the militant group's reluctance to engage in full-scale war with Israel.
