In a shocking scandal that has rocked Israel's security establishment, a female Israeli soldier serving in a classified position within the Intelligence Corps' elite Information Security Department has been arrested for her clandestine affair with a Palestinian man from Ramallah.

As reported by Srugim, the explosive revelation came to light after the soldier, whose identity remains undisclosed, was apprehended not once but twice by Palestinian police forces in Area A of the West Bank. Initially dismissing her presence as getting "lost along the way," her shifting accounts quickly raised suspicions.

It was only after intense interrogation by Israeli military police that the truth finally emerged - for nearly a year, the Intelligence Corps soldier had been engaged in a secret romantic relationship with her Palestinian lover. Their trysts unfolded in the West Bank after he was banned from entering Israel in the aftermath of the October 7th attacks.

The Military Police were reportedly "stunned" by this breach, promptly arresting the soldier for three days on suspicion of "exceeding authority to the point of harming state security." She was released yesterday under restrictive conditions as the investigation continues.

While Israeli authorities have stated the "security motive was ruled out," the mere fact that such an intimate liaison occurred between an Israeli soldier privy to classified intelligence and a Palestinian resident has sent shockwaves through the ranks.

IDF prosecution is currently weighing potential charges against the officer.
