Report: Amos Hochstein back in Israel after speaking with Lebanese leaders

The visit comes amid increasing signals from Israel's political and military leadership that a decision on war in the north is coming soon.

Amos Hochstein, America's emissary for resolving the conflict in the north, is back again in Israel on an apparently unscheduled meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu, according to Axios reporter Barak Ravid.

This meeting comes against the background of increasing signals from Israeli political and military leaders that the moment for deciding on a northern war against Hezbollah is very near.

This includes Foreign Minister Katz's recent statement, IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari's public warning, and the IDF's recent approval of operational plans in the north, per Israel Hayom.
