Report: Israeli strike last Thursday was not an assassination - but something more important

Contrary to reports that the strike last Thursday was meant to target a senior Hezbollah official in the Tyre area, a new report suggests it was aimed at an even more sensitive Hezbollah target.

The strike against Hezbollah last Thursday night was aimed not at a senior Hezbollah official but rather a highly sensitive intelligence headquarters posted in a civilian area, according to Kann 11 News reporter Roi Kais.

According to Kais, this is the reason Hezbollah was quick to seal off the building and not make further mention of the attack on the building in the Tyre area, rather than simply acknowledge the death of one of its leaders and move on.

Twenty people were killed in the air strike, including two women.
