Along with praising Hamas founder and celebrating terror against Israel, Jalal Chahda remains one of Al Jazeera's top news anchors all while inciting the destruction of Israel and spreading Palestinian propaganda.

Al-Jazeera's top news anchor, who recently spoke with Secretary of State Blinken in Doha, has long supported Hamas weapons and tunnels and wished for Israel's destruction. Jalal Chahda is indeed quoted saying, "The hope is that we Arabs can soon celebrate Israel's descruction."

Jalal Chahda, a prominent news anchor and host on Al-Jazeera, conducted an interview with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Doha, Qatar on June 12, 2024. Chahda has been a part of the network since 2011 and is recognized for his radical opinions. Chahda backs terrorist groups like Hamas, applauds the rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza, rejects Israel's presence, and criticizes Arab nations for normalizing ties with Israel.

MEMRI has previously recorded Chahda's radical remarks, the report mentioned that on July 15, 2014, during the Israel-Hamas conflict, Chahda posted a tweet claiming that the Israeli Iron Dome system was ineffective against the rockets of the resistance defending the honour of the ummah.

A couple of days after, on July 25, 2014, Chahda backed Hamas' tunnels by saying, "The tunnels in Gaza are where the Zionists will meet their end." He also commended armed resistance in general: "Previously, I thought that armed resistance in occupied Palestine was one of ways to achieve freedom, but now I think it is the sole way."
