The Washington Post published an extensive article this morning (Friday) about the close intelligence cooperation between the United States and Israel. This collaboration contributed to the daring rescue operation of four hostages in Nuseirat refugee camp carried out last Saturday.

According to Israeli sources cited in the article, American intelligence provided the Israelis with unique capabilities and information that they lacked before the Hamas attack. "They provided us with capabilities that we never had before October 7," said one senior Israeli official. Another senior Israeli official noted that the United States provided highly detailed satellite images that Israel lacked.

It was also revealed that in the first weeks of the war, Israeli officials responsible for locating the hostages in the Gaza Strip requested specific information from the US to help bridge gaps in what they knew from their sources.

Finally, it was disclosed that the Americans planned to send an elite Delta force that has extensive experience in rescuing hostages to rescue American hostages being held in Gaza.
